Exploring Galápagos + Machu Picchu and Peru's Land of the Inca | National Geographic Gemini Expedition Ship

Upon your arrival in Ecuador, we will meet you either in Quito, the Andean capital, or in Guayaquil, a coastal city. You will then be taken to a comfortable hotel for an overnight stay. Both cities offer good international flight connections, with flights to the Galápagos typically departing from Quito and often making a stop in Guayaquil. Guests in Guayaquil will stay at the locally-owned Hotel Oro Verde, while those in Quito can choose from various hotels, including one conveniently located near the airport.

If you arrive a day earlier, you can opt to join the See Quito Pre-Voyage Extension. Alternatively, you can extend your trip with a visit to the Mashpi Reserve in the biodiverse Andean tropics near Quito or add extra nights to explore more tours in either Quito or Guayaquil.

In the morning, we'll take a flight to the Galápagos Islands and embark on either the National Geographic Gemini or the National Geographic Endeavour II. Following lunch, our journey will commence as we begin exploring the islands and their extraordinary wildlife.
