Upon arrival at San Cristobal Island Airport, your naturalist guide will welcome you and accompany you to the Puerto Baquerizo Moreno pier, where you will board the yacht. In the afternoon, visit the San Cristobal Interpretation Center to explore exhibits focused on the volcanic and natural history of the archipelago and its conservation efforts. Later, hike to Tijeretas Hill for panoramic views of the coastline, Kicker Rock, and the ship anchorage below. Frigatebirds can be observed soaring and nesting around the area, adding an important wildlife experience to the excursion. Beneath the hill, a quiet cove provides an opportunity to swim alongside sea lions and colorful fish, combining natural history, scenic landscapes, hiking, and marine exploration on your first day.
