North Seymour Island

Dry landing. Seymour is the result of lifting volcanic marine lava. This island has marine fossils from the Pleistocene era.

In 1932 Captain Alan Hancock, his crew and 72 land iguanas that were malnourished from Baltra Island moved to North Seymour Island in order for the iguanas to live better. The colonists confirmed that the iguanas had good health in 1934.

North Seymour has a dense vegetation that is home to the nesting Real Frigates from Galapagos.

South Plazas Island

Two small islands created from an uplifting of the land. Here, the land iguanas nest in warmer weather. This hike takes you along a spectacular cliff, where nesting seabirds are located. On the Plazas' south side, you can find approximately 1,000 sea lions.

Santa Fe Island

Activities for the day include hiking, snorkeling, and swimming. This central island, with its 24km ² length and 60m above sea-level height is an amazing place to visit. The bay is protected by rocks and has a stunning turquoise-colored water. As hawks soar overhead, you will be able to see seal colonies. One of two land iguana species found on the Galapagos is located here. The leaves and fruits of this large, thick cactus are their main source of food.

Crabs as well as marine iguanas (marine herons), cucuves, and landdoves can be seen regularly. It is a great place for snorkeling and swimming. Attractions like marine tortoises and rays as well as tropical fish, sea lions, and sea lions are amazing! On board, you will find a variety of snacks and drinks. Dinner.
